He married Elisabeth Verstraeten. (Elisabeth Verstraeten is #1088.) Elisabeth was born 17 May 1714 in Ophoven. Elisabeth was the daughter of Joannes Verstraeten and Anna Maria Crawinkels. She was baptised on 17 May 1714 in in Ophoven.⁽¹⁰²⁹⁾

Joannes Geurts and Elisabeth Verstraeten had the following children:

2 i. Joannes² Geurts Joannes (#2414) was born in Ophoven 26 January 1740. He was baptised on 26 January 1740 in in Ophoven.

+ 3 ii. Carolus Geurts was born BEF 1745.
